Building a command center for managing cases of child maltreatment
A control and monitoring framework will be developed to enable continuous learning through performance feedback and case analysis, involving a multidisciplinary team from participating healthcare and welfare services.
This project will establish a unified Command-and-Control Center in the form of a digital dashboard, integrating data from social services and emergency room (ER) and Terem clinics visits to enhance communication and collaboration between healthcare and social systems. The dashboard is designed to address gaps in current workflows that may allow maltreated children to slip through the safety net of the state’s welfare and healthcare systems.
Serving as a centralized platform, the dashboard will enable the management of active cases, documentation and analysis of past cases, and the provision of real-time insights into a child’s health status and care urgency. By integrating data from both social services and healthcare, the Command-and-Control Center facilitates the early detection of child abuse and supports timelier, coordinated interventions for vulnerable children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
