Dr. Tal Frolinger, PhD

Prof. Tal Frolinger is a neuroscientist and faculty member at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai hospital, New York, where she also serves as Co-Director of the Phenotyping Core at the Center for Translational Research and Pharmacology. Tal completed her PhD at the Department of Life Sciences, Tel Aviv University and her postdoctoral training at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, New York. Her academic background spans behavioral neuroscience, psychopharmacology, and physiological sciences, with a research focus on developing innovative models to study affective and neurodegenerative disorders.

Prof. Frolinger’s work integrates psychiatry, neuroscience, and pharmacology to explore novel therapeutic strategies for mental health and neurodegenerative diseases. Beyond her scientific expertise, she plays a central role in managing this project, leading its design, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing collaboration across clinical, academic, and technical partners.
