Dr. Yuval Barak-Corren, MD

Principal Investigator

Dr. Yuval Barak-Corren is a physician and health data scientist whose work bridges clinical practice and computational innovation. He serves as a clinician at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel, a researcher at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and a consultant for Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH). Within the project, he leads the computational strategy, clinical integration, and real-world implementation.

Dr. Barak-Corren holds an MD from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and an MS in Health Management from Brandeis University. His research focuses on predictive modeling, clinical informatics, deep learning, and generative AI. His past roles include serving as a researcher in the Predictive Medicine Group at BCH and advising the Israeli Ministry of Health and several healthcare startups. His tools have been deployed at leading institutions including BCH, CHOP, and Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
