Amit Levin Koren

Data Scientist

Amit Levin Koren is a data scientist and 4th-year medical student with a strong foundation in computer science, earned during her pre-clinical studies as part of the SAGOL Computational Medicine Program. Her dual expertise in medicine and technology positions her to contribute meaningfully to the development of data-driven solutions in healthcare.

In this project, Amit works as a research assistant in data science, focusing on data analysis, model optimization, and supporting the creation of scalable, impactful tools. Her work is guided by a deep commitment to innovation and the belief that technology can transform the way we care for patients.

“I chose to study medicine out of a desire to make an impact and help the community around me. When I was given the opportunity to combine a degree in computer science early in my medical training, I knew it was a meaningful way to do just that. In this project, I’m putting that vision into practice—using the tools and knowledge I’ve gained to create real-world change.”
